Tyler Cran, President, CEO & Director
Mr. Cran is a 1973 graduate of the University of Alberta. Since graduation, Mr. Cran worked with Husky Energy Inc and then with Murphy Oil Company (Canada) Ltd, where he was active in all facets of the companies’ land activities. In 1978, Mr. Cran joined Landbank Minerals as a land manager and went on to form his own exploration company, Cardinal Energy Ltd which he sold in 1985. Mr. Cran has since been active in both the energy and real estate industries. He is President and a founder of Andora Energy Corporation, Director and founder of Black Mountain Energy Corp., Director of Encanto Potash Corp., Chairman and Director and President of Border Petroleum Inc., and Chairman of Oilsands Real Estate Development Corp., a company developing real estate holdings in Fort McMurray.
Bryce Bonneville, Vice President & Director, Business Development
Mr. Bonneville is a 1993 commerce graduate from the University of Calgary. In 1997 he completed his Law degree at the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Bonneville returned to Calgary to set up his private practice as a business lawyer and formed Calgary Corporate Counsel, a securities, corporate and commercial law practice. Mr. Bonneville is the corporate secretary and a founder of Andora Energy Corporation and Black Mountain Energy Corporation.
Ross Moulton, P.Geol., Vice President, Exploration
Mr. Moulton has over 35 years of oil and gas experience with various private and public exploration and production companies. Prior experience includes 6 years at Texaco Exploration Canada Ltd and 18 years at Phillips Petroleum Corporation. He has also been a Director of Mart Resources, Exploration V.P. for Centurion Energy Ltd, and has acted as consultant for numerous companies including Devon Energy and Anderson Exploration. Mr. Moulton is a professional geologist.Most recently he was Exploration Vice President at Arapahoe Energy Corp.
Gregory Q. Marr, CA, Vice President, Finance and CFO
Mr. Marr has been a chartered accountant since 1982. He began his career at KPMG and has acted as Controller and/or VP Finance and/or CFO for several public companies since 1989, including Allrich Energy Group, Greyhawk Oil & Gas Inc., Prophet Petroleums Ltd., and several others.
Orest Massetti, Consulting Vice President Engineering
Mr. Massitti is a Professional Engineer with over twenty years of oil and gas experience in production operations, drilling & completions, and exploitation engineering. He has held various senior management positions with numerous companies including junior start-up ventures, assisting in their growth from zero production up to 20,000boepd, all within Western Canada. Mr. Massitti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and has been a registered member of APEGGA since 1991.
Robert G. Farquharson, Director
Mr. Farquharson is currently the chairman of AlConsult International Ltd. an oil and gas consulting firm. Mr. Farquharson is a seasoned oil executive with extensive heavy oil and bitumen production expertise. Mr. Farquharson was formerly the president and CEO of Murphy Oil Company Ltd., a Director of several companies, including ELAN Energy Inc. (Lasmo Canada Ltd.), CS Resources and Momentum Energy Inc.
Mr. Vouri is currently President, Canadian Oil & Gas Division of Provident Energy Trust. Provident Energy Trust is a publicly listed company on the TSX Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol PVE.UN. Mr. Vouri is a registered professional engineer with over twenty years of oil & gas related experience in the Province of Alberta and has extensive heavy oil experience working for companies such as Koch Exploration and Unocal Canada.
Mr. Kroontje, holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree from the University of Waterloo and is currently the President of his private investment company, Flotan Corporation and also President of Telford Services Group Inc., a public oil and gas services company listed on the TSX Venture. Mr. Kroontje is currently a director of One Exploration Inc. and of Regal Energy Ltd., two public companies listed on TSX Venture and engaged in oil and gas exploration and production. He is also a director and Trustee of Deepwell Energy Services Trust, a public trust listed on TSX, as well as a director of Galleria Opportunities Inc. and E.G. Capital Inc., both public companies listed on NEX. Mr. Kroontje is also currently the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President and Director of Marco Polo Investments Ltd., a capital pool company listed on TSX Venture. Over the past 5 years, Mr. Kroontje has held positions including: Director of Luca Capital Inc. (now VentriPoint Diagnostics Ltd.), a public biotechnology company listed on the TSX Venture, from May 2005 to September 2007; Director and Interim President of Tesoro Energy Corp. (now Mahalo Energy Ltd.), a public oil and gas company listed on the TSX from June 2000 to July 2004; Director and Interim President of Pelorus Energy Corp. (now RedStar Oil and Gas Ltd.), a public oil and gas company listed on the TSX, from August 2003 to December 2004; Director and President of Quarry Oil & Gas Ltd., a public oil and gas company listed on the TSX Venture, from November 1995 to July 2003.
Mr. Ludwig has over 15 years experience in the financial consulting and advisory area serving the oil and gas industry. Ray held the position of CFO, and Director of Sabrich Capital Corporation prior to the amalgamation of Sentinel and Sabrich. Ray currently holds the position of VP Operations with Sparta Capital Ltd. a public company active in technology related to fuel savings and emissions reduction. For the 6 years ending in 2004, Ray held position of Senior Manager, Financial Advisory Services of Deloitte specialized in oil and gas. Ray holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan (1978) and holds the professional accounting designation of Certified Management Accountant (1991).
